MPVI4 Credits - HP Tuners

HP Tuners MPVI4 Credits are required to license your ECM and/or TCM before flashing any custom calibration using the MPVI4 interface. Each supported vehicle platform requires a specific number of credits, and once a module is licensed, it can be tuned, reflashed, or updated without purchasing additional credits for that same module.

These credits serve as the licensing foundation for all HP Tuners workflows, supporting a wide range of diesel and gasoline platforms—including GM Duramax, Ford Powerstroke, Ram Cummins, and modern Global B and newer ECM architectures.

How MPVI4 Credits Work

• Account-Based Licensing – Purchased credits are permanently tied to your HP Tuners account
• Module Licensing – Credits are used to license ECMs, TCMs, and select auxiliary control modules
• One-Time Use Per Module – Once licensed, that module can be flashed and adjusted without additional credit cost
• MPVI4 & RTD4 Compatible – Required for MPVI4 and RTD4-based diesel and gas tuning
• Unlock Support – Compatible with ECM unlock processes where applicable

When Credits Are Required

• Flashing custom diesel or gas tune files
• Licensing stock ECMs or TCMs prior to calibration
• Updating or modifying an already-licensed vehicle
• Working across multiple vehicles using the same MPVI4 interface
